Chloe's Awesome Blog

During the school year we have been on many journeys. Just one of them was the Austin trip. I built many bridges and went on many journeys both figurative and literal. In my Texas history project I studied Jane Long. I got to see where lots of her awesome journeys took place! When we were on the boat ride in San Antonio we went through many bridges and so did I. I made good friends with people I don’t usually hang out with. My favorite part of the Austin trip was going to San Antonio to see the Alamo because that is where several revolutionaries, peacemakers, and pioneers where at one time. I think Jane Long was and still is a revolutionary because she is one of a kind and helped lots of people. On my 4^th grade journey, I think I have learned to be a peacemaker and a bridge builder and in some ways a revolutionary. I think a revolutionary is someone who understands the language of God and is selfless. On the Austin trip my roommates where Ms. Landers, Lauren, and Maddie. We named our group the “Flowered Foursome.” Each night we got a card with words of wisdom on them. Each night when I went to bed I thought about what the card really meant and it helped me be the best that I could be like Aslan trying to get everyone to be a peacemaker. Mrs.Cousino is helping me with my journey as I drive along it. Mrs.Cous is the best driving teacher, she helps me to not bump into puddles or rocks but after all nobody is perfect. I have learned that my journey will never end because God is in charge of it. I don’t want to end my 4^th grade journey but I know my 5^th grade journey is soon to come! I can’t wait to see what twists and turns lie ahead!

As she walks by she shares her pretty smile across the room, she has a great smile! Maddie is very nice, we always get along! (mostly because she is so easy to make up with!) Mads is an amazing artist, she is a Picasso at heart! Maddie is also great at soccer! i know whenever i need some soccer tips I can come to her. One of the great things about maddie is she will never leave anyone out! i thing we are such good friends because we are very different! Oppisits attract! Do you have a good friend like that?

It is cold outside and all I can say now is “Now that’s winter!” I feel shivers running down my back racing to my feet waiting for them to hear their favorite words, I’m cold! I wish there is a snow day so I could box sled down dead man’s hill with my cousin! If there was a snow day I could cuddle up in my blanket and drink hot chocolate in front of the fire watching American idol. But for now it isn’t snowing, just a freezing windy winter day with coughs and runny noses all around. Inside it is warm and cozy, it feels less cheerful inside when outside it is grey and cold. Sometimes it’s good to be cold and windy though, like when you are at a country club in shorts running around a track. If there was a snow day I wouldn’t have to go to school! I could play a game of clue with my mom and then take a long nap! That sounds good right now! But it would be cool if it was summer…. If it was summer I could go outside and play! But its winter, I can’t. I wish I could stay inside and warm up by the fire, I can its winter! Winter has a special feeling; you have the feeling that nothing can go wrong because you feel safe as a tiger huddled up in your warm winter coat with your wool socks. If you think about it, can you drink hot chocolate in the summer? No. Can you have snowball fights in the spring? No. Can you have Christmas in the summer? No. Can you have my birthday in the summer? No. All of those things are the wonderful wonders of winter! My favorite part of winter is Christmas! I love presents! My favorite sound of winter is horses hooves around Highland park, and those are the wonderful thing about cold windy winter!

The perfect wedding dress is for a princess, it is sprinkled with fairy dust like the perfect winters snow! The snow blankets the ground so it is covered. The wedding dress is made with diamonds the sparkle in the sunlight! The dress is like Cinderella’s but even more magical! Whoever sees it will fall under the magical spell of beauty! The wedding dress is pearl white and glows like it is on fire! It has beautiful lace flowers on it, the flowers are perfectly shaped as if the most wonderful fairy in the world drew them! The wedding dress is paired with beautiful silk sandals with sparkles all over them!  The sandals are so perfect that the queen of England could wear it! The women wearing the wedding dress has makeup done as perfects as a Barbie, and it is most importantly PINK! The hair has to be up with as many bobby pens as it takes, it is shaped into a high bun in a perfect circle! The bun has a fresh picked yellow rose on it. The vale covers the back of her hair and goes down to her waist, it is held on with a pink pearl headband. The perfect wedding dress doesn’t need to be put on, it is on with a snap of a finger of a prayer to god, it is simply magical!

My classmates

My classmates are like family, when you meet someone at school you’ll know them for the rest of your life. Now listen too the kind words about my friends. I’ll start with Caroline P.(mega animal lover!) I think everyone would think that Caroline P. is fun nice and looooves dogs. Caroline P can cheer anyone up on a rainy day! Now I’ll talk about Emma, Emma is so sweet and everyone has theire moments but Emma is just plain nice. She always has a smile on her faceJ! Demi, Demi, Demi! Demi is an A-mazing writer, she is fun and when your with Demi all she needs is vac le-vac le- uh, I cant pronounce it but it is chocolate cake , anyways, when your with demi all she needs is chocolate cake and she will not be bored, jk! Shes never bored, shes as creative as anyone could ever get! Peace  out! I bet you know who that is from those two words! Sarah kate is in the house! Sarah Kate is a persone that you just know and love! The kind of persone who is a friend too anyone and dosent have a “best friend”. Headband is sarah kates middle name! She has all headbands Amaginable! I know I haven’t covered everyone but I don’t want to leave anyone out so I want to say a word about everyone in the 4^th grade! You are all nice and children of god, everyone has theire moments and makes mistakes, but friends are friends and that who we will always be, peace out!

A flag dances too the soft slow music playing in our car, the flag turns and waves. It dances the most beautiful dance in the world. The wind is the most beautiful music in the wo-rld. Dancing flag, I will watch you for the rest of my life!

One of my favorite family traditions is the present pass, what you do is you pass the present to the right whenever my mom says the when she reads The Night Before Christmas. At the end you end up with a present and you get to open it! Sometimes you get something you don’t want so you trade it! That is probably my favorite part!! I love it because all the kids in our family do it. I go to my grandmother’s house for Christmas every year! It doesn’t feel like Christmas anywhere but my grandmother’s house! Another thing we do is make a wonderful chocolate cake! It is soooooooo good! That is probably one of my favorite deserts! I love my family traditions!

I am thankful for New York, New York is who I am, as a person, as a girl, and as a star! New York is where my true personality comes out! New York is my home away from home! Broadway is my sister!  She is always there and I LOVE to see her! Broadway makes me feel like a different person! Someone who is famous and is living the “good life!” Times square is the greatest feeling in the world! Even when I see a picture of it I cry like a baby! New York is the fashion capital of the world! New York is the world of barney’s and Niemen Marcus! New York is my best friend, I love it! New York is too good to describe! New York, New York!

Presents are great! When I get one, my heart starts filling up like a half gallon of coco cola! Presents can be something that you’ve been waiting to get for your whole life, and can’t wait to open it up on Christmas in that big shiny box or it can be the gift of god; witch is the biggest and best gift in the world! Presents. I can’t begin   to describe them! It is amazing to think that someone spent their time and money on something to make you happy!  Presents make me think of Christmas, witch I love! Like I said in my passion poem, “Christmas is as fun as shopping! (And you don’t here that from me very often!) Presents are sharing love and happiness in a box, the feeling of the shiny wrapping paper makes my head fill with only happy thoughts, like sparkles, puppies, pink, glitter, Mrs.Cousino.. Let’s get back to the point! My favorite kind of presents isn’t in a box! (Even know I love boxed things I get on Christmas!) But its plain happiness! Living’ the “Good Life!” knowing that nothing can stop you from living your dream! Presents will dance around in your mind whenever you think of the good life!,                                                                                                         so why not live it! Time to put the bow on the present, BYE!!:-)

S’more cupcakes are the greatest! They have thick creamy marshmallow filling and a burning hot melted piece of chocolate on top and hen BOOM! The cupcake hits my mouth like the sound of a gunshot at a race. Fresh from out of the oven the chocolate cupcake dances down my throat like the rockets at radio city music hall! The cupcake is the best desert in the world! S’more cupcakes can taste like anything you want them to taste like, they could be warm and comferating on a cold stormy night in colarado,or festive and happy at a birthday party !  When I taste s’more cupcakes find myelf sitting around a campfire with my friends and family in swizzerland making s’mores with the best c-hocolate in the world, swizz chocolate, straight from the factory. We feel warm and cozy and like we are wearing fur coats! Whenever I eat s’more cupcakes they start a party in my tummy,  weather i want them to or not! Then I hit the creamy filling that is hot and burning like fire , i reach to my mouth to take another bite, nothing is there! That tells you how much i love s’more cupcakes!
